He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlotte Emma and Wesley Clarence Golden; his wife Barbara Jean Hanold Golden of Bloomington; his daughter Lisa Ann Golden-Ipson (Tim Ipson); his grandchildren, Allison Ipson-Haney (Jason Haney), Thomas (Heather) and Kenneth Wesley Golden (Marcia); his great grandchildren, Joanna Golden, Rachel Ott (Justin Ott) and Samuel Scott Golden (Mary Ellison); his children, Taylor, Mitchell (Catherine), Chyanne Ellison, Madison Ellison and Jane Lynn Latta-Ritland (Rick Ritland); his grandchildren, Michael (Katie), Christopher (Allison), Kevin (Madison), Rae Ann (Chase), Lauren, Eric (Abigail) and Matthew Jack Golden (Sharon); his children, Jackson, Nicholas and Susan Elizabeth Golden-Bishop (Steve Bishop); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Zoey, Eve and Eli. He was also cherished by six children and 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Speedway Christian Church (5110 W 14th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sam's honor may be made to Speedway Christian Church or to a charity of your choice.
