She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas A. Hanna Jr.; and her parents, Jack R. Downey and Agnes Mary Spaulding Downey. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Thomas "Tom" Hanna (Shirley), Debby Hanna and Jerry Hanna (Lynda); and her sister-in-law Jody Richwine. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; 5 nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
