She is survived by: her husband James Rethmeyer; her son Dyke Michaels; her sisters, Suzanne Schoppenhorst (Dyke) and Rachelle Le Fur; and her stepchildren, Angie Rethmeyer, Jeremy and Gary Rethmeyer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
