He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Smiley George (Harris); his children, Victoria A. Smiley, Hannah Lee Smiley, Kaitlyn E. Gary (Smiley) and Devin J. Smiley; his brother Stephen Harris; his niece Samantha Russell; and his aunts, Helen Smith, Janet Smiley Foster (Lacer) and Janet L. Bucher.
