He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Hawk and Olive Marie Hawk (Lint); his daughter Joanne Hawk; his former wife Nancy Lee Hawk; his brothers, Raymond, Carl and Frank Hawk; and his sons-in-law, Ralph Lovett and Bill Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Shelton of North Manchester, Margaret Lovett of North Manchester, Ronald Hawk, Jr. (Jenny) of Claypool, James Hawk (Estelle) of Andrews, Jackie Smart (Ronald) of Huntington and Edward Hawk of Indianapolis; his close friend Helen Hawk of South Whitley; his stepchildren, Grant Watkins (Roxie) of Andrews and Karen Monroe of Huntington; and his sister Lorene Schrader of Washington. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
