He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard R. Walgamuth and Mildred M. Walgamuth (Brandenburg); his wife Bernadine L. Bauman; and his sisters, Violet Betten, Doris Newman and Patsy Rittenhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Sturdevant (Donald) of Greenville, OH and Jerry R. Walgamuth (David Brodbelt) of South Whitley; his grandsons, Steven Sturdevant (Jamie) and Brian Sturdevant (Harry Cambrelen, Jr.); his great grandchildren, Jason Sturdevant and Logan Sturdevant; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Karly and Sarah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St John Lutheran Church (2465 W Keiser Rd, Columbia City, IN 46725).
Preferred memorials are to St John Lutheran Church.
