He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald P. Michel and Alma Michel (Coble). He is survived by: his children, Brian Michel (Missy) of South Whitley and Robin Johnson (Ryan) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Gerald "Jake" Michel (Chelsea), Tanner Johnson (Rena), Tayler Johnson (Corinna) and Tori Grover (David); and his brother Steve Michel of South Whitley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
