He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cripe and Memory Cripe (Leininger); his son James Cripe; his father-in-law Thomas Rudd; his siblings-in-law, David Rudd, Don Wright and Linda Cripe; and his niece Mary Beth Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Todd Cripe (Joyce) and Caroline Downing (Chad); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Madison Cripe, Casen and Cora Downing; his siblings, David Cripe, Douglas Cripe (Voila), Becky Burton (Alan), Dennis Cripe (Carol), Kathy Fahl (David), Tammy Perry (John), Brian Cripe (Kim) and Valerie Craig (Verlin); his mother-in-law LuLu Rudd; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Wright and John Rudd (Darlene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Les to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
