He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Eberly and Mary Etta Eberly (Mishler); his spouse Glee I. Penrod; and his siblings, George, Ray, Dean Eberly, Phyllis Birtwhistle and Glea Rule.
He is survived by: his children, Daryl D. Eberly (Carolyn) of South Whitley, Carol L. Eberly of South Whitley, Laurell E. Schroeder (Thomas) of Columbia City, Jeryl J. Eberly (Tammy) of South Whitley and Terry Eberly of South Whitley; and his grandchildren, Angela Tranter (Chad), Andrea Garringer (Eric), Audra Lenfert (Brian), Jennifer Hotchkiss (Jamie), Neil Hodges (Megan), Jessica McFarland (Thomas), Jarad Eberly (Brittany), Tara Cox (Hayden), Jordan Eberly, Sean Eberly, Wade Eberly, Cole Eberly and Hope Eberly. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
