She was predeceased by : her parents, William Morris Darley and Ruth Darley (Penrod); her husband John Wallace Whitt; and her granddaughter Jessica Danielle Whitt. She is survived by : her children, Michael Whitt of South Whitley, Marvin Whitt (Sherry) of Huntington and Amy Szelis (Trent) of Huntington; her grandchildren, Erin Herberger (Justin) of Sturgis, MI, Tami Gusching (Douglas) of Fort Wayne, Daniel Whitt (Sara) of Huntington, Trevor Szelis (Katy) of Huntington, Andrew Szelis of Huntington, Hannah Szelis of Huntington and Emma Szelis of Huntington; and her brothers, Alan Darley (Beth) of South Whitley, Rex Darley (Deb Lancaster) of South Whitley and Scott Darley (Rhonda) of South Whitley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Smith & Sons Miller Chapel (208 N Maple St, South Whitley, IN 46787). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
