She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; her sons, Leslie and Jason; and her siblings, Cozetta Slater and Larry Allen.
She is survived by: her parents, Lyman Slater and Mildred Slater (Tschauntz); her children, Howard and Bambi Bennett of Louisville; her grandchildren, Nikole Callihan, Jessica Bertram, Jack Shoemaker, Claire Shoemaker and Grace Shoemaker; her great grandchildren, Nora Callihan and Keirsey Bertram; and her sister Sherry Boggs of Columbia City.
