She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burnett and Susie Burnett (Sumner); her husband Silas Ashley; her siblings, Ruby Lawson, Bryan Burnett, Elmer Burnett, Frank Burnett, Sherman Burnett and Dorothy Burnett; and her half-sisters, Pauline and Madalene.
She is survived by: her children, William Ashley (Sheryl) of Huntington, Timothy Ashley of Goshen, Greg Ashley of South Whitley and Rebecca Holt (Richard) of South Whitley; her grandchildren, Derek Matteson and Hope Holt (Joshua Williams); her great grandchild Camden Matteson; and her sisters, Bertha Holliman of Connersville and Hazel Combs of Hazzard, KY.
