He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon R. Basinger and Velma Basinger (Burkholder); and his brother Marvin Basinger. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jane Grismore; his children, Jeffrey Basinger of LaOtto, Gary Basinger (Leslie) of Churubusco, Dennis Basinger of Albion and Stephanie Albright (Jon) of North Manchester; and his brothers, Paul Basinger of Dayton, OH, Daniel Basinger (Cindy) of Bluffton, OH. and David Basinger (Lora) of Bluffton, OH.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a drive-through visitation will be held at the Oak Grove Church of God, 2426 South Raber Road, Columbia City, from noon until 2 p. m. on Wednesday.
