As Dorothy Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorothy Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorothy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esta Keel and Ruby Keel (Hull); and her sisters, Helen Kurz, Mary Lou Jackson and Lois Jean Keel.
She is survived by: her husband Donald LeRoy Carver; her children, Debra L. Carver of South Whitley and James Carver of South Whitley; and her siblings, Kenneth of South Whitley, Robert Keel of South Whitley and Phyllis Simmons of South Whitley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Miller Chapel (208 N Maple St, South Whitley, IN 46787). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
