It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hofer of South Whitley, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Shipley; her grandparents, Jay and Francis Shipley; her husband Reverend John E. Hofer; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Langefeld.
She is survived by: her stepfather Walter Ciolkos; her sons, Mark Clark of South Whitley, Jim Clark of Indianapolis and Christopher Clark (Terri) of Avilla; her stepsons, Mark Hofer (Joyce) of Goshen, Michael Hofer of Fort Wayne and Martin "Herb" Hofer (Tammy) of Valparaiso; her grandchildren, Shawn Love (Rob), Melissa Ledford (Josh), Zachary McCue (Becki), Seth Miller, Madison Shepherd (Noah), Mariah Lash (Ethan), Cassidy Clark, Cordell Hofer, Alexander Hofer, Dominic Hofer, Stephanie Kennerk (Clay), Ella Hofer, Katharine Hofer, John Hofer, Matthew Hofer, Eliana Clark and Abriel Clark; her brothers, Michael Ciolkos (Tina) of Angola and Thomas Schee (Jill) of Westby, WI; and her brother-in-law Nelson Langefeld of Cincinnati, OH..
