He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Douglas Sr. and Mildred Wynona Carpenter (Samuels); his grandson John Prichard; and his brother Reginald Carpenter Jr. William. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Walsh; his children, Caley Prichard (Joseph), Mary Carpenter, Rebecca Thibodeaux (Tyler), Peter Carpenter and Theresa Shaw (James); and his nephews, Glen, Steve and Jim Carpenter. He is also survived by his wife, children, and future grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in memory of Bill Carpenter be made to Team Katie Schwab.
