Griffith of South Bend, Indiana, born in Piggott, Arkansas, whose life came to an end on November 10, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey W. Griffith and Juanita Griffith (Vincent); and his wife Marilyn Kaley. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Sobieralski (Danny) of South Bend, Ronnie Scanlan of South Bend, Joe Scanlan (Nellie) of South Bend and Andy Griffith (Alice) of South Bend; his grandchildren, LaVonne Kasprzak (Robb), Allen Sobieralski (Connor), Ronnie Scanlan III, Nick Scanlan (Caylie), Jonathan Scanlan, Ashlie Nicks, Isaiah Nicks, Kevin Scanlan, Kristen Scanlan, Josh Scanlan and Andrea-Jo-Griffith; his siblings, Charlotte Barrier (Joe) of South Bend, Lisa Moak (Dave) of Golden Valley, Brenda Matthews of Chandler and Brian Griffith (Debbie) of South Bend; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Kaley of South Bend and Carolyn Peppers of South Bend, Indiana.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel (3545 N Bendix Dr, South Bend, IN 46628). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Wendell's honor to the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club.
