He is survived by: his mother Sandra Hale-Benjamin (Goodsell); his wife Carol Lintz; his children, Ashley Hale (Adam Batson), Jessi Hale (Domingo Carrillo), Hailey Hale (Philip Hutchen) and Samuel Hale Jr. (Niki); his grandchildren, Alexander, Allan Batson, Christopher, Carley, Michael Sinclair, Anayeli Hutchen, Chrystyan, Isaac Jimenez, Adilyn Thurston and Ayla Thurston; his siblings, Jessica Miller (Glen), Rebecca Piper, Clayton Hale Jr. (Sherry) and Millard Hale (Goldie); and his nephew First (Tristan Hansen).
