He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo and Sylvester Martin, Sr. (Wilson); his wife Edna Hill; and his siblings, Mary, Michael, Timothy, Frederick, Darryl, Judy, Harriet, Linda and Phillip.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Al Hill and Johnnie Banks; his sister Martine Martin of San Diego, California; and his godchildren, Cynthia Burton (Maurice) of South Bend, Thomas Hyde and Gary McKinney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
