He was predeceased by: his parents, Sol S. Silver and Frances Ruth Spitzer; his former wife Marilyn Hope Demby; and his sister Linda Edelstein (Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Joshua (Colin) and Benjamin; his grandchildren, Ella, Harry and Solomon; his sister Maxine Frank (Fred) of South Bend; his stepson James "Jim" Karmolinski of Yacolt, Washington; and his stepgrandson Michael (Crystal) of Somerset, California.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sinai Synagogue, the Jewish Federation of Saint Joseph Valley, or to the Michiana Jewish Historical Society.
