She was predeceased by: her father Paul E. Metz; and her grandparents, Nancy Anderson, Thomas Williams and Kenneth Nothstine. She is survived by: her mother Lori Nothstine; her fiancé Steven Guthrie; her pets, Lily, Daisy, Nugget, Zoey, Rocky and Toby; her siblings, Amanda Metz of South Bend, IN, Stefanie Surpas (Jeff) of Fishers, IN, Meredith Sheehan (Rob) of Mishawaka, IN and Michael Nothstine (Vickie) of Bremen, IN; her niece Isabella Sheehan; her nephews, Zachery Surpas, Vincent Sheehan, Alex Surpas, Dean Sheehan and Masen Surpas; and her grandmother Kay Nothstine. She is also survived by her cats and the birds.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - River Park (2528 E Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking to make donations to the Kidney Foundation or IGA NEPHROPATHY FOUNDATION.
