He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Van Meer Wirt and Evelyn Bernice Eiman Wirt; and his sister Billie Jean Kerr. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mary Gordon Wirt; and his children, Michael Loren Wirt II (Rhonda), Thomas Wirt (Jennifer), Timothy Wirt (Lucinda), Wendy Wirt and Kerry Wirt (Tina). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
