She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hawblitzel and Helen Hawblitzel (Monahan); and her husband Robert A. Spence. She is survived by: her children, Julie Morris of Winchester, Thomas A. Denunzio (Melissa) of South Bend and Michael Denunzio (Eric) of Bloomington; her granddaughters, Colleen and Sarah Denunzio; and her siblings, Kathleen Arnold (Richard) of Vermillion and Paul Hawblitzel (Loretta) of Camarillo, California..
