It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Kopinski of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry William and Betty Marie Gudates (Schultz); and her husband Norbert Kopinski. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Schultheis (Greg) of Mishawaka and Mark Kopinski (Susan) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Amanda Troxell (Cameron), Kelly Heatherly (Terry), Kara Henry (Dexter), Brett Kopinski (Ana), Kasey Zartman (Kyle), Coley Schultheis (Christina Miller) and Erin Crecelius (Adam); her great grandchildren, Brady, Braxton, Camden, Ruby, Isabella Heatherly, Carter, Vincent Henry, Bennett, Lena Troxell, Elias, Theo, Soraya, Andres Kopinski, Clark, Cole Crecelius, Hudson and Ryker Zartman; and her sisters, Betty Ann Hevel and Jo Ann Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (2310 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation in Mary Ann's honor.
