She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Gladys Brown (Fausey); her sister Barbara Bird; her grandson Aaron David Fordyce; and her husband Douglas.
She is survived by: her sister Roberta Brown; her children, Doug (Jeri), David (Janet) and Linda Fordyce Ewert; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson (Matthew), Jeremy Fordyce (Jeni), Andy Fordyce, Mallory Foley (Zachary), Katie Heath, Lauren Strolle (Clayton), Justin Crosbie (Alex) and Elizabeth Steward (Brian). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel (17131 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN 46635). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Southlawn Cemetery (61430 US-31, South Bend, IN 46614).
