She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley G Leszczynski and Florence Leszczynski (Babicz); her husband Walter A Stefaniak; her siblings, Frank Leszczynski (Evelyn), John Leszczynski, Stanley D. Leszczynski (Claudette), Louise Janowiak (Richard) and Lucy Gadacz (Sal); and her brother-in-law Chester Gadacz.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Stefaniak (Claire) and Tom Stefaniak; her grandsons, Bradley Stefaniak (Taylor), Patrick Stefaniak and Scott Stefaniak; her sister Evelyn Gadacz; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hock and Rita Leszczynski; and her close friend Alice Toth.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (56405 Mayflower Rd. 46619). An entombment was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (24980 IN-2, South Bend, IN 46619).
