Lee Chizum Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Chizum of South Bend, Indiana, born in Fulton, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chizum and Mabel Chizum (Hollar); his former wife Joyce Koufman; and his siblings, Bill, Marion, Art, Dean, Anna and Clara.
He is survived by: his wife Luella Woodcox Spon; his sons, Phil Chizum, Mark Chizum and Jerry Chizum; and his stepdaughter Cheri Robinette (Chris). He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step granddaughters, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lee may be offered to the Center for Hospice Care, Inc. 535 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
