He is survived by: his daughters, Gudrun Sydow (Tim) of Rolling Prairie, IN and Rosalie Nichelson (Scott) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Heidi Nix (Adam) of Rolling Prairie, IN, Sandi Penvose (Scott) of LaPorte, IN, Jodi Sydow of South Bend, IN, Lindsey Nichelson-Sanchez (Jesse) of San Antonio, TX and Michael Nichelson (Brittany Toy) of League City, TX; his great grandchildren, Alia, Orion Nix, Gage and Riley Penvose; and his sister Waltraut Paetzel (Dieter) of Germany.
