He was predeceased by: his father Harold Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Nelson (Caron); his sons, Kevin M. Nelson (Stefanie) of Mishawaka and Timothy C. Nelson (Sydney) of Elkhart; his granddaughter Ella Nelson; and his brother Kurtis Nelson of South Bend.
