It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kate Ann Palmer (South Bend, Indiana), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marienthal and Sadie Marienthal (James); and her husband William Neal Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Kathryn Swanson (Scott), Virginia Ann Hrywnak (George) and Jonathan William Noah Palmer (Erin); her grandchildren, Sophia Hrywnak, Anna Hrywnak, Samuel Swanson, Audrey Palmer and Fiona Palmer; her brother George Marienthal; and her cousin C. W. James.
