Joyce K. Pittman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce K. Pittman (South Bend, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Mesaros and Alice Mesaros (Sergeant); her husband Richard E. Pittman; and her siblings, Dorothy Walters, Jack Mesaros, Robert Mesaros, George Mesaros and Larry "Bud" Mesaros.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Taylor (Allan), Karen Derby (Joseph) and Douglas Pittman (Alyce); her grandchildren, Amanda Freeman (Rich), Jessica Ewald (Adam), Nicole Perry (Kyle), Hayley Uhlick (Cody), Alexander Pittman, Lindsay Pittman, Amy Pittman and Sidney Pittman; and her close friends, Glenda and Pearl. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Anthony de Padua Church (2114 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46617). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery (2257 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Comfort 1 Hospice.
