He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Callahan (Wilt) and Joseph Sr. Callahan; and his brother Kevin Callahan. He is survived by: his sister Karen Schlipp (Joseph) of Michigan; his children, Joseph Callahan (Morgan) of Stevensville, MI, Kathleen Ernst (Michael) of Stevensville, MI., Eric Callahan of South Bend, IN. and Eleanor Concannon (Joseph) of Elkhart, IN; his grandchildren, Grace, Mason, Brayden, Benny, Lexie, Lily, Quinn and Zeke; and his close friend Aaron Geiser of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (52473 State Hwy 933, South Bend, IN 46637).
