He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nickerson and Betty Nickerson (McKee); and his brother Gary Nickerson. He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Disterheft; his daughters, Emily Sagon (Nathan) of Granger, Maggie Galloway (Riley) of Mishawaka, Rachel Nickerson of South Bend and Lydia Nickerson (Jacob MacDonald) of South Bend; his grandchildren, Gianna, Vincent Sagon, Hudson, Hazel and Gatlin Galloway; and his siblings, Sue Zimmerman of Granger and Scott Nickerson (Rhonda) of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (16495 Ireland Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
