With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guadalupe Salinas Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rita T. Valdez (Torres). He is survived by: his father Jesus G. Valdez; his daughters, Jennifer Salinas, Trisha Salinas, Veronica Salinas and Heather Lou; his stepdaughter Teresa Cruz; and his siblings, Hazel Salinas, Norma Deleon (Ramon), Ernesto, David and Christobal Gaytan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Casimir Catholic Church (1308 Dunham St, South Bend, IN 46619). A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (24980 IN-2, South Bend, IN 46619).
