Gregory Labis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Labis (South Bend, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gregory departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gregory leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Labis and Rosemary Labis (Cunningham); and his stepfather Herbert Goffeney. He is survived by: his son Ryan Labis (Amy) of Michigan City; and his granddaughter Hillary Labis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home (503 W 3rd St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Calendar Southlawn Cemetery (61430 IN-931, South Bend, IN 46614).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Stanislaus Capital Campaign Fund at 109 Ann St. Michigan City, IN 46360.
