He is survived by: his children, Sandy Hamann (Jeff Szabo) of South Bend, Jerry Hess (Mary), Cindy Lytte and Ronnie Hess (Pat) of St. Joseph, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Bill Hamann (Diana), Kevin Hess (Deb), Jay Hess, Bobby Jo Lytte Burke (Dwayne) and Tammy Snedeker (John). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
