Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donnabelle Jean Baumgartner of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 95, on April 15, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donnabelle may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Roesch and Mildred Roesch (Saddison); her husband Paul Baumgartner; and her daughter JoAnn Baumgartner. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Reimann (James) of New Buffalo, MI, Linda Baumgartner of South Bend, Judy Kuspa of South Bend and Paul Thomas Baumgartner (Tina) of Ortonville, MI. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her step-siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (226 N Hill St, South Bend, IN 46617). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
