It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Trethewey of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Trethewey and Agnes Trethewey (Dunstan); and his siblings, Ruth Feirick, Roger Trethewey and Geoffrey Trethewey.

He is survived by: his wife Janice E. Trethewey (Day); his children, Debora Greenwood of Boisser City, Louisiana and Terry Trethewey (Chery) of South Bend; his stepsons, Dennis Nuehring of Auburn Alabama and Kenny Nuehring (Joyce) of Sarasota; his grandchildren, Melissa Trethewey (Stuart Wuergler), Jared Trethewey and Riley Trethewey; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Cali and Landon Wuergler; and his siblings, Sylvia Steinke of South Bend, Kathleen Schafer (Ken) of Melbourne, Florida and William Trethewey Jr. of South Bend.
