She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Batten and Esther Mae Batten (Kreps); her children, Kathryne Elaine "Katie" Vigansky and William "Billy" Holtsclaw; and her brother Dennis Batten.
She is survived by: her spouse Chris McCarthy; her children, Krystal Fanin (Andrew) of South Bend and Frank Holtsclaw (Jill) of Mishawaka; and her brother Terry Batten of Niles, Michigan..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cruz Family Funeral Home (1109 Lincolnway W, Osceola, IN 46561).
