He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Loretta C. Neary (Vollrath); and his wife Delores Mathew. He is survived by: his children, Linda Hilton (Rick) of Wolfeboro, NH, Colleen Sundquist (John) of West Lafayette, IN, Terry Neary (Diane) of Granger, IN/Phoenix, AZ and Patrick Neary (Judy) of Ajijic, Mexico; his grandchildren, Travis Neary (Jaime) of Paw Paw, MI, Kellee Lowry (Henry) of Indianapolis, IN, Guinevere Hilton Campbell (Andy), Julie Hilton Podbielski (Steve), Morgain Clegg (Cody) of Loveland, OH, Aisley Gash (Steve) of Ellicott City, MD and Bridget Ann Sundquist of West Lafayette, IN; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Neary, Audrey, Theo Rohr, Ian Clegg, Henry, Quinn Gash, Leonora Podbielski, Finn and Bodhi Boston; his siblings, Catherine Schumann (Herb) of Merrillville, IN, Caroline Coughlan (Mike) of South Bend, Geraldine Kiernan (Barry) of Valparaiso, IN and Dennis Neary (Suzanne) of Carmel, IN; his sisters-in-law, Judy of LaPorte, IN, Lizbeth Neary of LaPorte, IN and Sally Neary of Ohio; and his close friend Sharon Greaf.
