With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lee McGeath (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McGeath and Nellie McGeath (Harris); his grandfather Tracy McGeath (Michaele) of Roanoke, VA.; and his sister Jean Price. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Kirkley; his children, Terri Lee McGeath of South Bend and Michael McGeath (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kelly Hayes (James), Kevin McGeath (Brandi), Madeline McGeath, Katie Trear (Lane), Matthew McGeath (Robin) and Miriam Wagner (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Jenna, Olivia, Zachary, Dylan, Lincoln Charles, Cheyenne, Emery, Ryker, Lainey, Silus, Greyson, Kinsley, Annalise, Bria and Millie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Southlawn Cemetery (61430 US-31, South Bend, IN 46614).
