It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Kissinger (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Wichlacz and Emma Mary Wichlacz (Nowicki). She is survived by: her husband John Kissinger; her daughters, Janice Jo Boss of Elkhart and Cassie Ann Kissinger (Nicolas Toner) of South Bend; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Hicks, Shannon Hicks, Kaitlin Hicks, Dalton Hicks, Gavin Boss, Anna Walker, John Walker, Dakota Toner, Emma Toner, Nicolas Toner, Jr. and Tim Toner; and her siblings, Emma Walker (Louis) of Indianapolis and James Wichlacz (Chris) of South Bend. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - River Park (2528 E Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Southlawn Cemetery (61300 US-31, South Bend, IN 46614).
