He was predeceased by: his parents, Arami King and Bertha King (Detweiler); and his siblings, Phyllis Kaufman-Stutzman, Roberta Mathes and Eldon King.
He is survived by: his wife Ardis King; his daughters, Kimberly Allen and Lynnette Ashburn (Todd); his grandchildren, Leah Allen (Joe Rafacz), Hannah Mehall (Michael), Chloe Ashburn, Allison Wojtys (Kyle), Joshua Ashburn (Kayla Chapman) and Amanda Ashburn (Blake Wilson); his great grandchildren, Joey Rafacz, Adaline Mehall, Avery Wojtys, Bentley Wojtys, Aubryana Ashburn, Presleigh Wojtys, Connor Wojtys, Paxton Ashburn, Lydia Ashburn, Melaki Coleman, Issac Wilson and Maezleigh Wilson; and his sisters, Virginia Richard (Edgar) and Patricia Miller (Laurel).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kern Road Mennonite Church (18211 Kern Rd, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Calvin's name may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.
