With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce L Eaton (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Vernon Eaton and Gladys Lucile Eaton; his son Timothy Leon Eaton; his son-in-law David Shawn Finch; and his sister Shelby Jean Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Tammy Finch of Louisville, Teresa Tillman (Gustave "Jim") of Lakeville and Tara Green (Danny) of Walkerton; his grandchildren, Cayli Johnson (Jayson), Corryn Finch, Brandon Scott, Austin Tillman, Connor Tillman, Zoie Scott, Leah Eaton, Makayla Tillman, Hailee Eaton and Colton Leon Green; his great grandchildren, Indy and Noa Johnson; and his siblings, Jewel Frazier, Paula Olinger (Dan), Nancy Sunshine and Tom Eaton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Southlawn Cemetery (61430 US-31, South Bend, IN 46614).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bruce Eaton can be donated to American Legion Post 284, 1633 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN 46628.
