She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brooks and Susan Brooks of Hartford, Kentucky.; her daughter Linda Gaye Tichenor; her husband Donald H. Harvey II; and her nephews, Jeff and Benji Vibbert.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Watterud (Bill) and Elizabeth Gurr (Wayne); her grandchildren, David Arnold (Roxanne), Lilianna Gurr and Steven Gurr; her great grandchildren, Genevieve Gurr, Autumn Cole and Kaitlyn Watterud; her sister Joyce Vibbert of Sellersburg, Indiana; her nephews, Brian Burgess of Clarksville and Clay Vibbert (Genevieve) of Henryville, Indiana; her niece Kim Olliges (Adam) of Louisville, Kentucky; and her friends, Cindy and Bill.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene (19688 Kern Rd, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
