He was predeceased by: his parent Manuel King; his sister Doris Jean Mitchell (King); and his son Corey Mitchell. He is survived by: his parent Rebecca Francis King (Dickens); his wife Lucy; his daughters, Inger JoAnn King (Atlanta) and Vicki Lichelle King (Indianapolis); his granddaughters, Ilana JeNai King, Asli Noel Strong-King, Ilia JaLyn King and Zoie Nyree Suzanne King; his sisters, Barbara Cole (Willie) of South Bend, IN and Linda King-Richie of Mishawaka, IN; his uncle Sam Dickens Sr. of Mishawaka, IN; and his sister Margurite Bonner-Pinson of Oxford, MS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, family, and friends.
