With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex Alvin O'Neal of Somerville, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt O'Neal and Edith Moore (Fleener). He is survived by: his wife Pansy O'Neal of Somerville; his children, Alvin F. O'Neal (Hope) of Somerville and Judy Scott (Tony) of Somerville; his grandchildren, Michelle Smithhart of Somerville and Alvin B. of Mackey; his stepgrandson Josh Scott (Megan) of Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Noah, Grace, Levi, Hope, Jesse, Faith and Gabrielle; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan, Abby, Aurora and Kubrick; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick, Michael, Christina, Charlena and Marquetta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home (323 N Main St, Oakland City, IN 47660). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Somerville Cemetery.
