He was predeceased by: his grandson Gage Besing; and his mother Judith Ann Besing (Miller). He is survived by: his wife April Besing (Stuckey); his father Larry Besing of Buckskin; his children, Zachary Besing of Oakland City, Bri Sandifar (Chris) of Oakland City, Abigail, Alyssa and Arik Thurston of Somerville; his grandchildren, Kole Besing, Alexis, Kenzi and Chloe Sandifar; and his brothers, Tony Besing (Karen) of Buckskin, Keith Besing (Patty) of Buckskin and Kenny Besing (Anita) of Oakland City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
