He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith; his daughter Jamie Smith (William Byrd); his stepgrandchildren, Emma and Nathan Byrd; and his siblings, Mitchell, Francis "Timmy", Dwayne, Mark, Russell (David), Dora, Tina, Phyllis and Ernestine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
