Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fredrick and Ava Lindsey (Bland); her husband Ivan Sparks; her son David Sparks; and her brother Benny Lindsey.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhea Sparks Lawrence (Brad) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, David Lawrence, Lindsey Lawrence and Lydia Lawrence; her great grandchild Dallas; and her siblings, Jerry Lindsey and Janice Lee.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home Inc. - Bloomfield (421 S Seminary St, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
